Life’s Paradox
Zhu Cunwei’s paintings undoubtedly deviate from normal emotions, knowledge classifications and visual experiences. The branches and leaves growing through the paintings are absurdly linked with the still animals. He gives us an artistic moment full of imaginations.
In the small provocation against the reality, all the shyness, weakness, silence and tenderness becomes virtue. By those virtuous animals’ eyes, the artist tells a new experience of life, identity and emotion, conveying the intrinsic power.
